All communications are strictly confidential.  Information regarding clients or contacts are never distributed or communicated to anyone outside the office of Timothy J. Bates without your express permission. It is my position that I will not have created an attorney client relationship with anyone unless there has been either a telephone or an in person meeting between you and I.

While I willl not discuss or divulge information that I learn through an E-mail, E-mails should not be considered a confidential communication. As a result never put anythiing in an e-mail that you would not want a third party to know.
